HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff has announced two men were hospitalized after a stabbing in Collinsville on January 27.
According to the sheriff, a call was received just after 4 p.m. on Monday stating a stabbing had occurred at a home on Sunset Road. On the scene, deputies spoke with a juvenile male with cuts on his hands. The juvenile, as well as his father, were allegedly uncooperative with the investigation.
The injured juvenile was then taken to the hospital for treatment and then released.
While investigating, deputies were able to learn the description of a possible suspect’s vehicle.
Deputies were then allegedly able to find the vehicle, and the person believed to be connected to the incident. The suspect was also injured with cuts to his wrist and body, and other injuries consistent with an assault, according to the sheriff.
The man was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries and was then released.
This investigation is ongoing; however, no warrants have been issued due to the lack of cooperation from both parties.
