Snow showers are possible in the western mountains through Sunday.
Snowfall amounts will vary by location and range from 1 to 6 inches. Snow showers and flurries are possible in the NRV and west of I-81.
Sunday morning lows will be in the 20s with afternoon highs in the 30s and 40s.
Sunday will be blustery with midday wind gusts to around 20 mph.
Temperatures this week will be cold with lows in the teens and 20s and highs in the 30s and 40s.
Other than Sunday and in the western mountains, there are minimal precipitation chances for the week. In the extended outlook, temperatures trend colder than normal and precipitation close to normal through December 10th.
