PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has identified two men killed during a farm equipment accident on January 23.
According to the sheriff, officers responded to the 5000 block of Dry Fork Road for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, they found two male victims who were unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports led the investigators to agricultural equipment being used by the victims accidentally made contact with high voltage lines.
The two males were identified as 24-year-old Juan Arizmendi of 6940 Dry Fork Rd Dry Fork Virginia and 67-year-old Phillip Hylton of 461 Hylton Ln, Dry Fork Virginia.
Both victims were transported to the Examiner’s Office for the Western District of Virginia for the cause and manner of death to be determined.
