PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s is asking the public for information in the ongoing eight-year missing person investigation for a 46-year-old woman from Danville.
On Monday morning, law enforcement served search warrants at a home and business on Moorefield Bridge Road in the ongoing missing person investigation of 46-year-old Soledad Najera.
Soledad Najera, who went missing on March 21, 2016, attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Danville but was originally from Durango Mexico.
“Our goal for today’s search by law enforcement is to identify any evidence that may lead us to the whereabouts of Soledad Najera,” said the Pittsylvania County Sheriff. “We ask for the media’s assistance in getting this information out to the public to help us in our efforts to locate Soledad.”
Agencies involved in today’s search include the FBI, the Virginia State Police, the Danville Police Department, the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, the Pittsylvania Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, the Pittsylvania County Public Safety, the Virginia Department of Corrections, and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management.
