Vinton Police searching for man accused of robbing a Truist Bank February 3


Vinton, Va. (WFXR) – Vinton Police said they are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Vinton on February 3.

Vinton PD said officers responded to the Truist Bank on Washington Avenue around 4:40 p.m. on Monday after reports of a robbery.

Police said a man allegedly entered the bank and demanded an undisclosed amount of money.  

The man then allegedly fled the scene on foot with the money, running through the parking lot toward North Poplar Street.

There are no reports of any weapons involved during the incident.
