ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WFXR) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has announced a third arrest in connection to the murder of Brandon Holland that occurred in December 2024.
According to the sheriff, 58-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Overstreet of Callaway was arrested on February 3 after being indicted by the Circuit Court Grand Jury on the following charges:
- One felony count of 1st Degree Murder – Conspiracy to Commit
- One felony count of non-Capital 1st Degree Murder
- One felony count of Firearm Use in Commission of a Felony
- One felony count of Maliciously Discharging a Firearm in an Occupied Dwelling
- Overstreet is currently being held without bond as he awaits trial.
The Franklin County Sheriff said the investigation is still ongoing.
