ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Each week, WFXR News highlights adoptable pets filling up animal shelters across Southwest and Central Virginia.
This week, on Tuesday, December 31, Stephanie Wright with the Franklin County Animal Shelter brought Clara to Furry Friends!
Clara is an affectionate four-year-old boxer mix. She is great with everyone; she gets along with other dogs, cats, and people. She has never met a stranger.
This happy girl loves to lean against people to get pets. She enjoys car rides and can easily make anyone smile!
Clara came from a hoarding case in October and she is still waiting to be someone’s companion. She just wants a home that can provide her with love, food, toys, and attention. She would love a yard to play in!
If you’re interested in adopting Clara, the Franklin County Animal Shelter is located at 81 State Street in Rocky Mount. The shelter is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
