HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man after a vehicle pursuit on South Creek Court in the Collinsville community.
On Monday, December 30, Anthony Lee Coverdale is facing additional charges after being wanted on three counts of felony probation violation, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff said that Coverdale was on probation for previous drug and firearm charges when during his arrest, he was allegedly found in possession of one pound of methamphetamine, a firearm without a serial number, and around $5,000 in cash.

Coverdale is currently being charged with the following offenses:
Violation of Virginia Code Section 19.2-306: Probation Violation (3x)
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 18.2-308.2: Possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon.
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 18.2-248: Possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 18.2-308.4: Possession of a Schedule I/II drug while in possession of a firearm.
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 18.2-311.1: Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 18.2-308: Carrying a concealed weapon.
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 46.2-301: Drive with a suspended license.
- Violation of Virginia Code Section 46.2-817: Failure to stop for police.
Coverdale is being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
