Roanoke County names new Chairman and Vice-Chairman to Board of Supervisors



ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – On January 14, the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors announced the appointment of a new chairman and vice-chairman for 2025.

During a meeting on Tuesday, David Radford was selected as the Chairman of the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors, as we as Hollins District representative, Phil North, as the Vice-Chairman for 2025.

David Radford has served as the Windsor Hills District representative since 2018, the Board Chairman in 2020, and then Vice-Chairman in 2021.

Phil North served as the Board Chairman in 2019 and 2024.

It was also announced that in 2025, board meetings will be held at 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month. Additionally, public hearings will be held at 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month, unless stated otherwise.
