Man hospitalized after New Year Day morning shooting in Danville



DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – Danville Police are investigating a shooting that hospitalized a man during the early morning of January 1.

According to DPD, officers received information around 4:40 a.m. from SOVAH Health that a 21-year-old man arrived at the emergency room with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand.

Further details are limited; however, investigators believe the incident occurred near Riverside Drive and Old Riverside Drive.
