The Peacemakers Safe Street Initiative started in 2023 after the murder of 6-year-old Kingston Campbell. Since then, Lynchburg has installed 88 cameras on homes to solve crimes around the neighborhoods and homes.

“We receive comments almost daily from people who feel safer as a result of having a security camera. We are currently accepting donations on our website and Facebook page and Amazon wish list to expand the Safe Streets Initiative for 2025.”
