Teenager charged in shots fired incident at Roanoke restaurant



ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Police have arrested a teenager in connection to a shots fired incident that occurred at a restaurant in northwest Roanoke on December 15.

RPD said officers responded to a restaurant on the 1400 block of Towne Square Blvd NW around 3:13 p.m. on Sunday after reports of gunfire in the men’s restroom of the establishment. On the scene, officers allegedly found evidence of a shooting and identified a customer as a potential suspect.

A 15-year-old male teenager from Rocky Mount has been arrested and charged with Reckless Handling of a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile, according to police.

No injuries have currently been reported.
