VINTON, Va. (WFXR) – Crews will begin roadwork at the downtown fire properties to reconstruct physical structures beginning on Wednesday, January 15.
Crews will work onsite to clean and create a more attractive and useable green space for the community.
The following will take place during the project:
- A small portion of the eastbound lane of E. Lee Avenue will be closed
- Intermittently, a small portion of the northbound lane of S. pollard Street will close
- Businesses in and around the work zone will still be accessible
- Work is expected to be completed in early February
