DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – The Danville Fire Department responded to a house fire early on January 2.
Crews responded to a single-family home on Glenn Street just after 6 a.m. on Thursday after reports of a structure fire. On the scene, arriving units found smoke coming from the home’s front door.
Firefighters entered and found the fire in a bedroom. Lines were set up and the blaze was brought under control in around 30 minutes, fire officials said.
No occupants were found during a search of the interior and one person made it safely outside.
No injuries have currently been reported.
Three pumpers, one ladder truck, and two support vehicles responded.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
