WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Wythe County has announced its administration offices have been affected by the ongoing outages after the latest round of winter weather.
Officials with the Wythe County Administration Offices said they are currently experiencing “major phone outages” affecting multiple departments, including County Administration, Building Inspection, Planning, Finance, Public Information, Emergency Services, Parks and Recreation, and Water.
Additionally, the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office, Lori C. Guynn, Wythe County Treasurer‘s Office, Adam Linkous, Wythe County Commissioner of the Revenue‘s Office, Circuit Court, Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Registrar’s Office, and offices housed in the Wythe County Courthouse have also been impacted.
Emergency 911 dispatch services, as well as the Department of Social Services, have NOT been affected and remain fully operational.
