ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The City of Roanoke announced that the traffic gate at the Mill Mountain Spur, off of Fishburn Parkway, is closed due to downed tree limbs.
Due to the weather conditions continuing throughout the region, tree removal operations are not able to be safely performed.
Crews are reassessing conditions when the weather improves for better conditions to clear roadways.
The Spur will be closed until further notice to ensure the public’s safety.
