FRIES, Va. (WFXR) – Fries Fire and Rescue responded to a serious two-vehicle accident on Route 94 with critical injuries early on February 6.
Officials with Fries Fire and Rescue EMS personnel arrived on the scene around 6:14 a.m. on Thursday and found two vehicles that had collided head-on. Crews found multiple people at the scene with injuries, including one person in critical condition.
Emergency responders requested air transport; however, due to weather, they were unable to respond.
One person trapped in a vehicle was rescued after doors were removed using spreaders.

Route 94 was closed while crews and emergency responders cleared Route 94.
