ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Police are investigating a robbery at Kroger in the Towers Mall on January 25.
RPD said officers responded to the Kroger at Brandon Avenue around 9:20 a.m. on Saturday. At the scene, it was learned that a man approached the customer service desk and allegedly demanded money while threatening he had a weapon.

The victim complied with the demands and the suspect then allegedly fled before police arrived on the scene, police said.
