ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a fatal crash at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Peck Street NW.
It happened this evening at approximately 6:10 p.m.
Police say a woman died at the scene of the crash, and the striking vehicle is still at the scene.
The intersection remains closed as police continue to investigate.
