ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke’s Solid Waste Management will be collecting Christmas trees.
Residents are to place their undecorated trees at the curb on their scheduled collection day. Collections will take place from December 30 through January 30.
Remove the following from your tree before collection day:
- lights
- bulbs
- ornaments
- tinsel
- garland
Trees that are still decorated will be taken to the landfill while undecorated trees will be mulched.
