BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) The Liberty High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter collected 13 deer on Saturday November 23, 2024 during the group’s annual deer drive. The venison harvested from the deer will go to Hunters for the Hungry and be distributed to area food pantries.
An exact weight of what was collected was not available, but last year’s drive brought in enough venison to create 1,400 individual servings.
