HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 2.3 magnitude earthquake shook Henrico County on Wednesday hours after another earthquake reportedly took place in the county.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a 2.3 magnitude earthquake took place at around 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located a mile northeast of the Wyndham area in Henrico County and about 13 miles northwest of Richmond.

This comes hours after a 2.8 magnitude earthquake shook Henrico County and its surrounding localities on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
