SALEM, Va. (WFXR) – The City of Salem has announced the return of the “Winterfest Beach Bash” in 2025 with the “Band of Oz.”
The Winterfest Beach Bash will be on February 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. inside the Salem Civic Center.
The Hall of Fame “Band of Oz” will make their appearance at the event for the 18th straight year. The band was enshrined in the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2016 and has been playing beach music since 1967.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday, December 16 at 8:00 a.m. at the Salem Parks and Recreation Department located at 620 Florida Street.
The admission fee is $10 and $12 on the day of the show. You can also buy 8 tickets for $80. Cash, credit card, or checks will be accepted during the weekdays of December 16 through February 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This event is known for selling out, so attendees are encouraged to buy tickets early. For more information, contact Salem Parks and Recreation Department at 540-375-3057.
Doors for the February 7 event will open at 6:00 p.m. and the band will go on stage from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Salem Penguin Club’s community service projects.
Coolers and outside food and drinks are not allowed into the event as concessions will be available.
