MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff has arrested a wanted man after a shooting and barricade situation in Martinsville on January 29.

The sheriff said deputies arrived at the 500 block of Lakewood Trail around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday after reports of shots being fired. On the scene, a male victim said he was speaking with a client when he suddenly heard a gunshot and then a projectile “whizz” past his head.
