CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The impacts of severe winter weather across the region have led to power outages and closings. There have been many reports of downed power lines and trees that have closed roads and delayed traffic.
Two lucky motorists in Rustbug were traveling on 501 North of Browns Mill Road when a large ice-covered tree began to fall, narrowly missing both vehicles.
Dakota Tingen of Rustburg was driving the second vehicle and captured the terrifying moments on his dashcam. In the video, you can see the vehicle ahead barely pass before the tree slams into the ground.
No injuries have currently been reported.
