DAMASCUS, Va. (WJHL) — Vice President JD Vance is back in Damascus on Monday to see the status of cleanup after Hurricane Helene.
Vance landed at Tri-Cities Airport on Monday morning before heading to Damascus.
In October, Vance (still a vice presidential nominee) visited Damascus to survey flood damage.
The vice president announced on social media Sunday that he would be back to “check on their cleanup from Hurricane Helene and we’ll continue to do so until they’ve fully recovered.”
