Two charged after narcotics warrant served in Henry County



HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFRX) – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people after serving a narcotics search warrant at an apartment on November 14.

On Thursday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant at an apartment on Foxtree Drive, which allegedly resulted in the seizure of substances believed to be fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Officers found 34-year-old Trey Michael Severt and 34-year-old Cheree Nicole Dalton of 50 Foxtree Drive inside the apartment at the time of the search.

Severt and Dalton were charged with the following:

Trey Severt:

  • Possession with the intent to sell schedule I/II drug (suspected methamphetamine)

Cheree Dalton:

  • Possession with the intent to sell schedule I/II drug (suspected methamphetamine)
  • Misdemeanor Fail To Appear – City of Martinsville
  • Felony Probation Violation – Franklin County

Severt is being held without bond at the Henry County Adult Detention Center and Dalton is being held without bond at the Martinsville City Jail.

Severt is currently on probation with previous offenses such as Possession of schedule I/II drugs, Possession of stolen goods, and Possession of 10 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
