Man wanted in Ferncliff Ave shooting charged with Malicious Wounding after turning himself him RPD



UPDATE 11/5 05:01 ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Police have released an update on the Ferncliff Ave. NW shooting that injured a man on Friday, November 1.

On Tuesday, November 5, RPD said that 46-year-old Frederick Lynell Wiley of Roanoke turned himself in to authorities.

He has been arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Police are searching for a suspect believed to have shot and injured a man in Northwest.

Friday just before 10 p.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Ferncliff Ave. NW to find a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are now searching for 46-year-old Frederick Lynell Wiley of Roanoke who is wanted for Malicious Wounding.
