Roanoke PD investigating hit-and-run that injured woman on Hershberger Road NW



ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke City Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident that injured a woman on Hershberger Road on January 18.

RPD said that officers responded to the 3300 block of Hershberger Road NW around 9 p.m. on Saturday after reports that a woman had been injured.

On the scene, first responders with Roanoke Fire and EMS found a woman with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

It was later reported the woman was allegedly hit by a vehicle that left the scene, according to RPD.
