Roanoke Fire & EMS responding to incident at abandoned parking garage in Downtown

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Fire & EMS are currently on the scene of the abandoned parking garage on 33 Salem Avenue downtown.

Salem Ave is currently closed off between 1^st Street and Jefferson Street and crews with Roanoke Fire and EMS have surrounded the structure.

It is currently unclear if the structure is at increased risk; however, the garage was previously shut down for being unstable.
