UPDATE 11:33 A.M. ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Fire and EMS responded to a structure fire around 7:23 a.m. on Friday, January 10.
Upon arrival, crews spotted heavy smoke and immediately searched the structure while trying to extinguish the flames.
The fire was controlled around 7:49 a.m. and there were no reported injuries.
The fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Fire and EMS are currently working on a fire in the 700 block of Bullitt Avenue SE in Roanoke.
The fire is currently under control, however roads are blocked at this time.
Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
