UPDATE 9:45 A.M. ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke County Fire and Rescue have released more details on house fire at Kentland Drive in Cave Spring.
Crews arrived at the home on the 3900 block of Kentland Drive and found heavy smoke and fire showing on all sides of the two-story building.
The fire was under control after 45 minutes, fire officials said.

Three adults, two cats, and two dogs live in the home. One adult was not present at the time of the fire. Two adults were treated on scene for smoke inhalation and then refused further medical treatment.
The two dogs are safe; however, the cats are currently missing.
The residents of the home have been displaced and will be staying with family in the area.
The fire remains under investigation by the Roanoke County Fire Marshal’s Office.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department is currently on the scene of a working fire in the Cave Spring area.
Crews responded to the area of Kentland and Bower and are advising residents to avoid the intersection until further notice.
There is currently no information on injuries or how the fire started.
