Roanoke County fire displaces 5 people



ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke County Fire and EMS responded to the 7200 block of Mount Chestnut Road for a residential structure fire.

Upon arrival on January 16 around 3:41 p.m., Wagon 11 found smoke and fire and smoke coming from side of the two-story home.

The fire caused $30,000 in estimated damage and caused 5 people to be displaced.

There were no reported injuries.

The fire remains under investigation.
