Pulaski man charged with over 49 counts of child porn possession



PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Pulaski Police Department says a tip from the NOVA-DC Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (ICAC) has led to the arrest of a man for allegedly downloading and sharing child pornography.

According to Pulaski PD, on Friday, January 17, information was received that possible online child porn file sharing was possibly occurring in the Town of Pulaski. Through the investigation that followed, a search warrant was served by law enforcement at the home of Kenneth James Williams III of Pulaski on Jackson Avenue on Monday, January 27.

During the search, multiple electronic devices were seized.

Kenneth Williams III has been arrested and charged with 18.2-374.1:1 (A) Possession, reproduction, distribution, solicitation, and facilitation of child pornography, and 49 counts of 18.2-374.1:1 (B) Possession, reproduction, distribution, solicitation, and facilitation of child pornography.

Williams is currently being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.

The Pulaski Police Department was assisted by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police.
