ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The chance for showers will continue into the day on Wednesday. Not everyone will get wet and any rain that falls should be light. The best chance for rain during the day will be west of the Blue Ridge.
Ahead of a cold front, temperatures will get warmer on Wednesday. The day will start with temperatures in the 50s, rising into the 70s during the afternoon.
Rainfall chances will increase on Thursday and again on Sunday. Areas west of the Blue Ridge could see up to one inch over the next seven days with areas east of the Blue Ridge seeing up to a half inch.
Temperatures will remain above average for the remainder of the workweek, dropping to near average for the weekend. Temperatures increase slightly next week.
