ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A few clouds will begin to roll into the region on Monday, but plenty of sunshine will get through to keep temperatures in the region above average.
Temperatures will start chilly in the 30s and 40s before rising into the 60s and 70s during the afternoon.
Showers are possible again on Tuesday and Wednesday with rainfall expected to be light. Most of the region will see less than a tenth of an inch.
Through Wednesday, temperatures will remain warm with highs in the 60s and 70s. Cold air returns for Thursday and Friday with highs in the 40s. Gusty winds will make it feel colder. The western slopes of the mountains could see snow showers. Calm conditions return for the weekend with temperatures returning to the 50s.
