Pinpoint Weather: Sunshine returns as rain moves out


ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Rain will end from west to east Friday night into early Saturday morning. For most of the region, an additional 0.25″ to 0.50″ is expected. A few isolated areas could pick up more.

As the cold front moves east, sunshine will return to the region on Saturday with many areas sunny by midday.

Temperatures will remain above average with lows Saturday morning in the 30s and 40s and afternoon highs in the 40s and 50s.

Temperatures will be cooler on Sunday due to increased cloud cover. Warmer air returns for Monday with widespread rain chances in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.
