ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Sunshine will return to the region on Sunday as high pressure builds in. Temperatures will start off Sunday quite chilly in the 20s and 30s before rising into the 60s during the afternoon.
Winds will be much less of a factor on Sunday and Monday with wind speeds less than ten miles per hour.
Temperatures will remain in the 60s and 70s through Wednesday. A strong cold front will move through the region, knocking temperatures back into the 40s and 50s starting on Thursday. Rain showers are possible Tuesday and Wednesday. The western slopes of the mountains could see snow showers Thursday and Friday.
