ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Rain will return to the region overnight as a weak cold front slides across the Commonwealth. A few showers are possible by 10 p.m., with the best rain chances from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Rainfall with the front should be light, with many areas picking up between 0.10″ and 0.25″
Temperatures will not drop a lot overnight, with many areas starting on Tuesday in the 50s. Temperatures will be slightly cooler Tuesday afternoon, with highs near 60.
Behind the weak cold front, breezy conditions will return. During the afternoon on Tuesday, wind gusts to 30 mph are possible. Winds should decrease Tuesday night.
Temperatures will fall back into the 50s on Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front moves through on Thursday, bringing another chance for rain. Temperatures get much colder for Friday and the weekend with highs in the 30s and 40s.
