Pinpoint Weather: Downward temperature trend


ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Winds will continue to decrease overnight and should remain light on Wednesday. Breezy conditions will return on Thursday.

High pressure will build in, which will bring clear conditions overnight. Clouds will roll back in on Wednesday ahead of the chance for rain Wednesday night into Thursday. On average, rainfall looks to be around a quarter of an inch on Thursday.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler Wednesday, with many areas starting in the 20s and 30s before rising into the 50s during the afternoon.

Temperatures will remain in the 50s on Thursday before dropping into the 30s and 40s starting Friday. Overnight lows drop into the 20s this weekend and early next week.
