This weekend will bring the first round of widespread wintry weather for the 24/25 season. Saturday will be cold and windy as a front approaches to bring a mixed bag of weather on Sunday and Monday.
This weather scenario will bring a variety of hazards to be aware of.

Snowfall totals will vary widely by location, elevation, and timing with cold air at the surface and aloft. That said, here are some possible totals by Monday afternoon.

Before the winter storm, Saturday will be clear and cold. Following lows in the teens and 20s, afternoon temperatures will be in the 20s west and 30s east.

Saturday will also be windy with gusts of 25 to 35 mph possible through the afternoon.

This month will continue to be unusually cold with temperatures around 10 to 15 degrees below normal.
