ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Windy conditions will continue for the next couple of days, with wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph possible.

The wind will continue to push cold air into the region. Overnight, temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s, with highs in the 30s and 40s for most. Southside will see afternoon highs around 50.
As high pressure builds into the region, dry conditions are expected for the next several days.
The one exception will be the mountains of Greenbrier, Pocahontas and far northern Highland Counties where light snow is possible. Through Saturday afternoon, the higher elevations could see up to an inch of snow.

Temperatures will remain chilly for the week ahead, with highs in the 40s through the weekend. Temperatures will only reach the 30s on Monday and Tuesday. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s starting this weekend.
