UPDATE 11/5 10:29 A.M. ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke City Police have released the name of the second suspect believed to be connected to the shooting that occurred on 11th Street and Highland Avenue SE on November 4.
41-year-old Pataki Venable of Roanoke has been arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding, according to RPD.

UPDATE 11/5 10:29 A.M. ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Police have released the identity of a suspect believed to be connected to the shooting in SE Roanoke that seriously injured a man on November 4.
55-year-old Jemal Breckenridge of Staunton has been arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding.
The second suspect who was injured during the incident is still being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
No new information has been released on the status of the victim.
RPD said charges are pending and they will be identified in the future.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Police are currently investigating a shooting in southeast Roanoke that left a man hospitalized with serious injuries on November 4.
RPD said reports of a shooting were reported near 11th Street and Highland Avenue SE around 7:45 a.m. on Monday. On the scene, responding officers found a man with a serious gunshot wound.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. The status of his injury is currently unknown.
Two suspects have been taken into custody in connection to the incident. It has been reported that one of the suspects was also being treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing. WFXR News will update you with more information as it becomes available.
