One in custody after Lynchburg bomb threat



LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg Police took one woman into custody for making a bomb threat toward the Centra PACE facility.

Police responded Thursday 10:20 a.m. after 69-year-old Nancy Taylor allegedly contacted the care center for the elderly. She reportedly threatened to bomb the business on Monday.

Police say they were able to identify Taylor and locate her quickly, charging her with Arson, Explosives, Bombs: Offender 15 or Over.

Taylor is currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
