Search for suspect in fatal Danville shooting


UPDATE — Danville Police have identified a suspect in Saturday’s shooting.

Police are looking for 28-year-old Khaleel Latwain Rodgers Jr. He’s charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and reckless handling of a firearm.

Police consider him armed and dangerous.

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Danville Police are investigating after a shooting at a local restaurant killed one man and injured two others.

DPD says officers arrived at Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge on the 1000 block of Piney Forest Road at 2:39 a.m. They found 33-year-old Damion Quayshaud Reed suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken for treatment but died.

A 50-year-old security guard was shot in the leg and a 37-year-old man was shot in the arm. He was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
