NATURAL BRIDGE, Va. (WFXR) – The Natural Bridge State Park is bringing back its 9th annual Festival of the Trees bringing in the holiday spirit while giving back to the community.
The Festival of Trees will start displaying on Friday, November 22 through December 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The visitor center will be illuminated with decorated trees during the Festival as each tree will be sponsored by local businesses and community groups. Guests can vote on their favorite tree by purchasing a ballot from the front counter or putting donation items under their favorite tree.
The winner will be the tree that has the most ballots or donation items and will be announced on December 31.

The donations will aid Rockbridge CAN, Project Horizon, and the Natural Bridge/Glasgow Food Pantry.
Donation items include the following suggestions:
- Household items: Paper towels, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, 13-gallon trash bags, laundry detergent, disinfectant spray/wipes, towels and washcloths
- Personal items: Body wash/soap, deodorant/body spray, shampoo/conditioner, hairbrushes, socks, diapers (size 5 and 6), baby hygiene items such as lotion, shampoo, wash and baby wipes
- Non-perishable, unexpired food items
