DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – The National Nonprofit Shoes That Fit will deliver new athletic shoes to 535 students at Schoolfield Elementary in Danville.
Shoes will be distributed to students in need on Thursday, January 16 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 pm. at Schoolfield Elementary School located at 1400 W Main St in Danville.
Check-in will be after you enter the main office where you will need to show a government-issued ID and then you will receive a visitor’s pass.
Nonprofit Shoes That Fit has announced its fourth year with a national partnership with GEICO to provide over 6,500 new shoes to students who are in need. The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation is donating 535 shoes and socks to students who attend Schoolfield Elementary.
Warrick and Chinque Scott and the Wendell Schott Foundation will help in handing out shoes to students.
