Man killed in hit and run on Williamson Road



ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke police are investigating the death of a man hit by a car Friday night on Williamson Road.

Officers say they got the call at 11:11 p.m., but when they arrived to the 4300 block of Williamson, the driver was gone. The man died at the scene.

RPD is asking Williamson Road businesses and residents between Epperley Avenue and Hershberger Road to check security cameras for any footage between 11:10 and 11:20 p.m.

Anyone with footage is asked to contact the Roanoke Police Department at 540-344-6681 so an officer can come out and review the video.
