Man killed after colliding with tree in Franklin County Crash



FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Virginia State Police are investigating a single-vehicle accident in Franklin County that killed a man from Hardy on November 10.

VSP said around 1:26 a.m. on Sunday, 29-year-old Tyler Austin Wade Hale-Camp was driving north in a 2012 Honda Accord on Booker T. Washington Highway near Harmony School Road when he ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

Mr. Hale-Camp was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

Police said the crash is still under investigation.
