LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating after a teenager was seriously wounded in a shooting at Timbers Apartments on November 22.
Deputy Chief Jerry Stokes told WFXR News that around 2:40 p.m. on Friday, LPD received a call that a person had been shot. On the scene, officers found a 16-year-old male with what appeared to be a serious but non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The victim has been taken to the hospital for further treatment and is reported to be in serious condition.
